QUALITY CONTROL

What is QUALITY CONTROL?

The human race has become so conscious about the quality that people are reluctant to accept anything for consumption if the quality of commodities or services is not up to the standard. The above trend is equally applicable in the field of petroleum, allied products, and the like. To examine test and assure the quality of commodities and services firms and organizations are accustomed to appointing exclusive personnel mainly under the title of quality engineers to deal with quality control.

Since the timely interventions of a quality engineer decide the defects of products and services quality engineer is key personnel to decide whether a product or service is to move in the open market. From the point of view of a career, a quality engineer has much scope and potential as a decision-maker in respect of the status of quality.

What is NDT?

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is a wide group of analysis techniques used in science and industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component, or system without causing damage. The terms Non-Destructive Examination (NDE), Non-destructive Inspection (NDI), and Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) are also commonly used to describe this technology Because NDT does not permanently alter the article being inspected; it is a highly-valuable technique that can save both money and time in product evaluation, troubleshooting, and research. Common NDT methods include ultrasonic, magnetic-particle, liquid penetrant, radiographic, and remote visual inspection, NDT is a commonly-used tool in forensic engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, systems engineering, aeronautical engineering, and medicine.

What is ASNT?

The American Society for Nondestructive Testing, Inc. or ASNT is a technical society of Non -Destructive Testing (NDT) professionals. ASNT evolved from The American Industrial Radium and X-Ray Society which was founded in 1941. Its headquarters is located in Columbus, OH, and there are 70 local sections in the USA and 14 local sections in other countries. ASNT is a non-profit corporation governed by a board of directors and national officers. The American Society for Nondestructive Testing has a membership of over 12,000 including a corporate partner affiliation numbering more than 500 companies. From serving on the ASNT Board of Directors to chairing a program committee or being a Section officer, ASNT members are at the core of shaping the Society, determining its direction, and contributing to program development.

With ASNT comes access to thousands of NDT practitioners throughout the world working in manufacturing, construction, education, research, consulting, services, and the military. By bringing together every facet of the industry, the Society remains an unequalled NDT resource.

With 85 sections (or chapters) worldwide, the ASNT Sections provide programs, local contacts and industry insights. Section participation is one of the best ways to make personal connections with members of the NDT community.

SCOPE:

In the field of education one of the major sectors is engineering. So, naturally we mainly focus on those who have completed their courses from recognized varsities. Since the field of engineering is very vast, we are very much sure of the successful survival of our institution. So we have ample confidence in respect of the regular flow of the flawless students to our institution from engineering colleges and similar institutions based on science and technology situated in India and abroad with special mention to Gulf Corporation Countries (GCC) and African region.

PEDAGOGUE:

Faculty are always one of the supporting pillars, a status they acquire by efficient and effective teaching, proper guidance, and maintenance of discipline, appropriate follow-ups, playing the role of a timely mentor, time consciousness, adequate attention, and the like.

We have given much attention and care during the absorption of efficient and eminent faculties for our students from pedagogues having professional ethics with much expertise and experience in respect of responsibilities they are entrusted with and who will sincerely and earnestly strive to make learning and teaching delightful experience in a student and teacher-oriented atmosphere. In fact, petroleum and allied subjects have a special treat in our syllabus. All the trainers are of high caliber ethics oriented professionalism with multinational representation.

SYLLABUS:

We are accustomed to keeping up a high standard of teaching by following the updated SNT-TC-1A syllabus with international acceptance guided by AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (ASNT) based in the US.
